MEMBER of the YSL record label founded by Young Thug, Lil Keed, has died at the age of 24, per social media posts from his brother.
Via Instagram, Lil Keed's brother, Lil Gotit, confirmed the death, writing: "Can't believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that's go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy."
Lil Keed allegedly posted in defense of the YSL label following the RICO indictment filed in Fulton County against a number of the label's rappers, including founder Young Thug, alleging ties to the Young Slime Life criminal gang.
The YSL label is "not a gang, not a criminal organization, not a mob," according to Lil Keed's post, but rather a "family, a label, a way of life."
The indictment charges Young Thug, rapper Gunna, and 26 others with racketeering, with charges specifically including conspiring to violate the RICO Act and participation in criminal street gang activity.

Judge increased Eppinger's bond
Judge Alexandra Manning originally set Eppinger's cash bond at $400,000, enraging law enforcement officials as well as the Atlanta community.
District Attorney Fani Willis said that she and the mayor were "disgusted" by the judge's bond decision as it was deemed too low by many.
Willis went on to say that because of his criminal history, Eppinger “has got to be removed permanently from society.”
“I have a problem with the process,” Willis said.
“A bond should not have been set for this gentleman because he is just simply too dangerous.”
Eppinger's alleged involvement in Atlanta shooting
On February 7, Atlanta Police set out to execute an arrest warrant for Christian Eppinger, due to his list of new charges.
When officers tried to take Eppinger into custody, investigators say that he began to fight with 11-year veteran Officer David Rogers.
Police say that Eppinger took out a gun and shot Rogers six times, with one of the bullets striking the back of the officer's head.
Eppinger's probation violation
In October of 2021, Eppinger was reportedly wanted in connection to an armed robbery.
Police said he had been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and being part of a street gang.
Three months later, a traffic felony was added on to Eppinger's charges.
Eppinger's amended sentence
Eppinger was sentenced to a total of 64 years on charges dating back to 2016, according to a FOX affiliate.
When he was a first-time offender, the judge had originally sentenced him to 10 years of which he served four in prison, records say.
Eppinger was sentenced to 20 years for robbery, as well as 20 years for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He was also sentenced to five years each for possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, fleeing to allude, criminal damage to property, and interference with government property.
Eppinger also was sentenced to 12 months each for cruelty to children, running a red light, vehicles on right side of roadway, and obstruction.

The new indictment names Christian Eppinger, an alleged YSL member who is accused of seriously wounding an Atlanta police officer in a February shooting.
Eppinger, 22, was still in jail as of late April. In response to The Sun's inquiry, the Atlanta Circuit Public Defender Office declined to comment on the charges against Eppinger.
"The case is ongoing and the office’s obligations to its client preclude public statements at this time," a spokesperson said.

Prosecutors argued that his wardrobe in the video and the line “we got ten-hundred round choppers” amount to “an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.”
