The late Paul Walker, who died in a car crash on November 30, was buried on Saturday following a private funeral service in L.A., according to reports.
The Fast & Furious star was cremated and his remains were interred at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. He was only 40 years old.
The funeral service for the universally beloved actor was an intimate gathering for close friends and hia family, including his father Paul Walker Sr.
His mother Cheryl Walker and his brothers Caleb Walker and Cody Walker were also in attendance, and we can guarantee there were no dry eyes.
The same will be true of the second memorial service that is reportedly being planned and will be attended by his Fast & Furious cast mates and crew.
His body was released to his family earlier this week after the county coroner completed an autopsy, which revealed Paul Walker’s cause of death.
The actor, who had a 15-year-old daughter, died as a result of traumatic and thermal injuries sustained in the crash that happened during a charity event.
An investigation of the crash is ongoing, though one operating theory is that road bumps and high speeds resulting in hydroplaning are to blame.
Thousands have paid tribute to Walker at the scene of the crash in Valencia, Calif., laying flowers, candles, notes and toys at a makeshift memorial.
There was even a slow-moving car and motorcycle procession past the spot where one of the good guys tragically passed away, gone but not forgotten.
