The Jonas Brothers don't want fans to give up hope just yet.
Last week it looked as if the band was headed for splitsville, but on Tuesday, Nick and Joe Jonas broke their silence on Twitter for the first time since reports surfaced earlier this month that there were major problems going on with the trio.

Two weeks ago, the Jonas Brothers announced they were canceling their tour two days before it was set to kick off, due to a "deep rift" within the band. Camp Jonas has maintained "the rift" was due to creative differences.

Apparently Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25, could not agree on anything from musical direction to the band's name. E! reported that Joe, who wanted a rock sound, and Nick, who wanted a combination of their old sound with a jazzy feel, were clashing when it came to the vision for their new, more mature band.

However, tabloids also speculated that Joe was struggling with substance abuse after he was photographed with Demi Lovato's former sober coach in Los Angeles. A rep for Joe said those accusations were false.
