A-LIST actor Chris Pratt chose an odd way to toast his engagement.
The Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World star celebrated his proposal to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter Katherine with some British strippers.
I can reveal the Hollywood hunk splashed out almost £5,000 at a striptease club in London’s Soho on Thursday. He was spotted partying in low-end Sunset Strip until the early hours as he took time out from promoting The Lego Movie 2.
A source said: “Chris was hell-bent on celebrating last month’s engagement as soon as he touched down in the UK for his promotional tour.
“After he finished filming for The Gragham Norton Show he headed to the Sunset Strip club on Dean Street at 10.30pm. Chris arrived in high spirits and it wasn’t long until he was on the dancefloor having a good time.
“At one point he spotted an attractive blonde stripper who was dancing around a pole and he started cheering.
“He was even telling the girl about his engagement and joked about asking if she’d marry him instead. Throughout his stay, Chris didn’t hold back and ordered several bottles of bourbon and champagne.”
Chris split from his first wife, actress Anna Faris — who is mum to his son Jack, six — in August 2017.
He popped the question to self-help author Katherine — pictured with him over a more sedate glass of bubbly last year — three weeks ago.
Somehow I doubt the strippers he met will get an invite to the wedding.

A tight race for No1
IT’S never looked tighter in the race for this week’s chart-topping album.
The Specials, Busted and Ian Brown are all in the running, with just 700 copies separating them. And landing the coveted top-spot means a lot to them all, as this will be the first time any of them have had a No1 album. No pressure then, Lads.
Busted – made up of Charlie Simpson, James Bourne, Matt Willis – were tonight in the lead with Half Way There. But two-tone ska band The Specials are hot on their heels with their first album in over three decades.
Lynval Golding, Terry Hall and Horace Panter released Encore last week – their first studio album together in 37 years – and if their sales are anything to go by they’re just as popular now as they were back in their heyday.
But former Stone Roses frontman Ian is just 70 copies behind them with his album Ripples.
May the best band, win.
Oscar grinners
THE Oscars have roped in superstar presenters for the ceremony after Kevin Hart stepped down as host.
Daniel Craig will appear at the event in Los Angeles on February 24, along with Whoopi Goldberg, Brie Larson and Jennifer Lopez. Charlize Theron, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Chris Evans are among those dishing out awards.
That’s a prize in itself.
US comic Hart stepped down amid a backlash over past homophobic tweets.
Starry eyed
PRINCESS Eugenie isn’t just a friend to Ellie Goulding – she’s a fan too.
The royal was spotted dancing during the singer’s performance at BBC Music’s Sound of 2019 Live concert at London’s Maida Vale Studios.
An onlooker said: “Eugenie looked like she was having a great time. She was just excited to see Ellie live.”
Sound of 2019 winner Octavian also took to the stage to show off his grime abilities.
However, I doubt Eugenie, pictured with Ellie, will be buying his CD for her gran come her birthday.

Super Bowl left in roons
MAROON 5 tried everything to make their Super Bowl half-time show go down in history.
Frontman Adam Levine even whipped his top off to try to get the crowds going during the 14-minute medley of their biggest hits in Atlanta on Sunday.
But the sight of his tattooed torso wasn’t enough to stop the band getting a hammering from viewers, who blasted their efforts as “dreadfully dull”.
Not even guest appearances from Travis Scott – who arrived on stage on a fireball – Big Boi, and Spongebob Squarepants himself could impress.
At least Adam looked like he had fun.

DIRECTOR Joe Berlinger has defended his new movie – Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile – about Ted Bundy, after it was accused of glorifying the serial killer. He said: “The idea of ‘making a movie about Bundy equals glorification of him’ is a very naive and knee-jerk reaction.” The murderer is being played by Zac Efron and it is set to be released this year.

She later posted on Instagram: “Sorry if I offended anyone, but it’s no excuse to laugh at someone’s addiction, let alone overdose.”
