Bones is back with new cases, new (and old) faces, and one name on everyone’s mind: Pelant.

Where is he? Who knows? Maybe the clock-radios!

Check out our THG recap here and then head over to the Bones review for "The Secrets In The Proposal" for the full run-down and discussion.

  • Everybody Hates Booth: With absolutely no one on his side, Booth turns to former priest and current bartender and friend Aldo Clemens to make his confession and tell someone–anyone–what’s going on with Pelant. Their mutual decision made inside a walk-in cooler? Pelant must die. (Like we didn’t already know that.)
  • Heartbreak! Brennan: Brennan is understandably heartbroken by Booth calling off their engagement. So heartbroken that three months later they’re still living together but she’s finally pushing him away and thinks that he might be cheating and/or he just wants to have a final fling before settling down, despite the fact that flings are way not his style and he tells her how much he loves her every chance he gets.

  • Angela-tron: In what makes absolutely zero sense, Angela forgets everything she’s ever known about Seeley Booth ever and is actually the one who plants the idea in Brennan’s head that he must want to sleep around before committing to her forever. She trusts Hodgins, though. He’d never be an evil philanderer like Booth. (Probably because that’s not what either dude is about, but, eh.)
  • What Do Parachutes and Air Conditioners Have In Common?: When the remains of an undercover CIA agent end up in an industrial air conditioner, Hodgins and Daisy affix a parachute to the machine to blow out all the body fragments. Cool-disgusting points: 8.5.
  • Daisy, Daisy, Daisy: The worst squintern next to Fischer appears to be back. Greeeaaaaat. I’m not sure my eyes are unrolled from her high-fiving herself.
  • Salt-n-Pepa: Freddie Prinze, Jr. as CIA Agent Danny Beck! Welcome to my small screen!
  • The Oracle Has Spoken: Brennan visits Booth’s bartender-friend who isn’t a priest anymore and learns that Seeley really does love her and probably has a good reason for why he broke off their engagement and when the time is right, Seeley will tell her. Trust him. You know, all the things he’s been saying all along.
  • God In The Machine:. Pelant is an uber-scary spy-villain using absolutely every single piece of technology to spy on the squints. Why haven’t they spent three months learning Morse code or some dead language so they can communicate? Oooh! They need invisible ink!
