Attention to all of our Big Little Lies fans and beauty fanatics out there! We don’t have all the secrets of Season 2 — but we do have something better: the exact lipstick shade Laura Dern wears all season long. Yup, consider it a big little truth.

Dern’s makeup artist for the show, Simone Siegl, confirms exclusively to Stylish that the lippie activist — who plays fiercely protective Monterey mom Renata in the hit HBO murder mystery — sports Kosas Weightless Lip Color in “Undone” ($28, kosas.com). Could the shade name be giving us a narrative hint?!

The bullet is a neutral color and lightweight but still offers full, buildable coverage — perfect for Renata’s overall no-nonsense, daytime chic look.

Of course, there was another big beauty secret uncovered from BLL’s second season — and yes, it is about Meryl Streep’s teeth. As diehards and casual observers alike know, the Oscar winner has joined in the upcoming season (premiering Sunday, June 9).

The Emmy-winning series also stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz, all of whom are returning. Meanwhile, Alexander Skarsgard, whose character, Perry, met an untimely demise in the Season 1 finale, will likely be appearing in some capacity, according to TVLine. The actor himself teased a possible comeback at the Golden Globes in January, telling fans, “I don’t even know if I’m really dead or not. I feel OK right now, but we’ll see.”

Making the series’ principle characters (excluding the leading five ladies) look very much alive is the job of lead makeup artist for the show, Michelle Radow. As she told PureWow recently, she goes for a natural look with a glowy finish. Her trick? “Something that always seems to surprise clients is I mix water into everything — yes, everything,” she told the site, advising people to even mist their makeup brushes with a touch of filtered water before applying any color.
