WHILE most Americans spend Turkey Day cooking, some are hitting the stores one day early.
Banana Republic announced a change in its store hours for just one day and shoppers should see if they're affected.
On Thanksgiving day, some Banana Republic stores will be open but it depends on where you live.
A Banana Republic spokesperson told The U.S. Sun, "While the majority of our Gap Inc. stores (Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta) will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, select locations will be open. Customers should check with their local store or the online store locator page for local store hours."
In New York City, the Fifth Avenue location will be open from 11 am – 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
This gives a chance for customers to eye up Black Friday sales one day early.

Many retailers are offering special deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Stores under the Gap Inc. umbrella are no exception.
Several locations will be closed across the country, including those in major cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
It's best to call your location ahead of time to confirm holiday hours.

Walmart said all stores will be closed for the fourth consecutive year.
Best Buy has confirmed that it will be closed on Thanksgiving.
And Target is following suit.
Shoppers need not fret though.
